On Demand Interpreting
Interpreter IO is truly a comprehensive interpreter management and delivery software solution. We have both ondemand telephone interpreting capabilities and ondemand video interpreting all built in to the one software platform.
On-Demand Interpreting Capabilities
Languages for ondemand telephone and video interpreting can be restricted to those languages that you can service. It does not need to be all languages that you support for in person interpreting.
Interpreter IO On Demand Interpreting - Overflow Service
Where you do not have the telephone interpreters available, Interpreter IO can whitelabel your ondemand interpreting service. We have over 200 languages available. Only licence holders of Interpreter IO can use the service.
On Demand Telephone Interpreting
Over the phone interpreting can be delivered as a pre-scheduled / pre-booked assignment or it can be delivered on demand. Phone interpreting is also known as OPI (over the phone interpreting). Our on demand capability allows approved clients to be connected to our professional interpreters within minutes. Clients use this service for call centers and in many other government and business scenarios. Clients can use their own interpreters, our interpreters, agency interpreters or a combination of these methods.
Interpreters answer the calls on their phone or using the Interpreter.IO platform.
On Demand Video Interpreting
Video interpreting also known as video remote interpreting Over the phone interpreting can be delivered as a pre-scheduled / pre-booked assignment or it can be delivered on demand. The video capability is also built into the Interpreter.IO system.
Just like the telephone interpreting solution, clients choose who the interpreters are in their resource pool. They may have their agencies, internal staff or they can use the Interpreter.io resource pool.
Interpreting Group Management
When automatically allocating work to your interpreters, users of Interpreter IO have the option to create groups based of interpreters. This is typically done where your interpreters have specializations. You can allocate an interpreter to one or more groups. For example, if they are both a health interpreter and also work in the courts, they can be assigned to two groups.
These groups can also be expanded to be client-specific. If your client requires specific training before the interpreter is answering on-demand calls for them, you can set up separate groups.
Interactive Voice Response or Call Center options
We have both the choice of using your existing call center to answer and direct calls to your interpreters AND the ability to automatic assignment through an IVR.
